Introduction
Gallery 3 consist of three parts: www.gallery3.com our virtual window, Gallery 3 Co-Op, our real window, and working studios. Located at 2101 Winter Street, Houston, an old warehouse that is now a thriving art colony of over 80 artist, we are located downstairs on the east end of the building.

- How many Members will be recruited?
There will be only 8 full members at any one time. - Will there be some one on duly each open day?
Yes, the featured artists is expected to host each of the three week-ends open house. I, Robert Derr, director will be present the open afternoons of Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Until 5:30. All members will be present for Open House and studios will be open and manned. - Who will hang works?
The vetting committee will curate and hang each show. - Transport?
Each artist will assume transport to and from the Winter Street location. And, all work must be ready to hang from picture rails installed at 8 feet from the floor. No work will be hung from "nails" in the wall in order to protect the Venetian plaster. - Is there an information news letter informing associates of up-coming events.
Yes, it is published via the net every month - What bang do I get for my $150/month?
Membership dues are; $1500 non-refundable deposit* and $150/month with a commitment for 18 months.
You will:
- Have access to from sixteen to twenty linear feet of wall or an equal amount of floor space for 3d work.
- Be the featured artist during the monthly rotation after one years membership. Featured artist will hang in the front gallery. All members will always have work in the back gallery.
- Members are expected to print invitations, cards and tags for work.
- Have as much press coverage as is possible in the local Houston Press.
- Take part in open house events that will take place over three days and will be: Thursday by R.S.V.P. invitation only, Friday for the general public, and Saturday an event such as a lecture, or music, or brunch, or some other such event.
* The membership dues can be paid out over the life of the contract and correspond to the budgeted build-out.
