Schedule
Our cycles of shows are of three weeks per month. The first Saturday* of the month is the opening from 5:00 'til 8:00. The second Saturday of the month is the Winter Street Red Dot Event, now in its second year, in which we take an active part. Second Saturday is from 1:00 'til 5:00. The third Sunday** of the month is our closing afternoon with a first-come-first-served lunch from 1:00 'til the empty plate or glass.
Gallery 3 Co-Op is a full service, original arts gallery of painters, photographers, ceramists, sculptors, and furniture makers. More Information about joining the Co-Op.
The gallery is run by the artists under the direction of renowned sculptor Robert Derr.
Painting styles range from: the nuanced and sensuous color fields of Becky Soria and Maryam Lafav; to the figurative works and impressionistic landscapes of Paula Hawkins, to most styles in between.
Photographs range from: post cards to wall-sized pieces; subjects can cover the Arctic Circle to the deserts of India, figurative to abstract works, in full color or black and white.
Ceramics range from: monumental to the miniature; sculptural to useful house-hold objects; figurative or abstract.
Sculpture ranges from: monumental to table top; from anthropomorphic oak or bronze furniture to bent-wood and steel minimalist suites; from portraiture to expressions of ideals.
We are located on the ground floor of Winter Street Studios, Suite C3. With over 80 artists working in a variety of styles and materials, Winter Street is Houston's largest space dedicated to the arts.
There is also a full-service frame shop.
We are open Friday, Saturday, Sunday 1:00 to 5:00 or by appointment.
Shows are will be held every 6 weeks beginning in October 2006.
